This is i of my favorite apps! It's so simple to use, just scroll through the 'pantry' while standing in front end of your real pantry and tap everything you've got on hand. My kitchen is quite small, so I proceed a lot of food in my garage. I used to hand write everything I had out there and keep it taped to my refrigerator inside, this app eliminates so much hassle!
I beloved that I tin can search recipes by ingredient, by meal type, etc. I even learned final night that I can filter to include multiple ingredients I have on hand, like 'chicken' 'black beans' and 'rice' instead of just 'craven' and scrolling hoping for a black edible bean dish.
The only thing that would make this app improve would be if there were a mode to have a 'menu' section - I know there'south 1 called carte, but it's just the list of all the potential recipes you could make. What I would like is the ability to tag recipes, and have them show up in the menu department - much like the little heart sends them to favorites. I'd like if I could 'favorite' tried and true recipes to rapidly detect them, but also to tag some of them into a bill of fare section for planning meals for the calendar week. An additional feature could exist that when you add recipes to the carte section, if two recipes use a same ingredient, you'd become an 'are y'all sure?' prompt - so y'all don't accidentally plan out ii meals using your singular box of pasta shells or whatever.
